Mindfulness Yoga

Mindfulness yoga is a training of the body and the mind based on the Hatha yoga tradition (Hinduism) and the practice of Mindfulness (Buddhism). In this form of yoga the emphasis is put on the practice of awareness of the body posture, the movements, the breathing and the sensations in the body. Mindfulness yoga is a meditation in motion.

For the breath teaches us to be in the present, because it is always now. The breath begins, continues and ends. This refers to impermanence. Every breath is different, everything is always changing.”

Lidia Schinkel (Buenos Aires, 1958) is a qualified and experieced yoga teacher.
She trained for 4 years at the Yogacademie Nederland in Amsterdam. One of her teachers is Zen teacher Nico Tydeman. Additionally she trained in yoga for children at H. Purperhart, Adem en Ontspanning by R. Herbig en transpersonal psychology. Lidia has been teaching for 12 years in the Netherlands, 2 years in Argentinia and since 2013 steadily in Ehipassiko.
During the retreats she monitors the yoga sessions.

Practical information

Every Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:30 am
Every Sunday from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm

Come up about 10 minutes before the start.

No lesson on upcoming holidays Thursday 1 and Sunday 11 November
